Many women wonder:
  • Is what I'm doing right?
  • What will happen if I make a mistake? Will people laugh at me?
  • Are my decisions based on my own thinking?
  • Would I rather ignore issues than deal with them directly?
  • Am I a people pleaser?
  • Do I rationalize my decisions based upon what I want or what others want?

If you seek answers to these or other questions, you have come to the right place.

I have pioneered Confrontation Therapy for women since 1976. It began on Long Island when I realized that women had a hard time standing up for themselves.
I have authored "The Courage to Confront Coloring Book for Adults," a handbook that helps you learn valuable confrontation techniques along with helping you to understand others.
You can view a sample of this book here. Please call or email me if you would like to buy this book or seek more information.

I have developed certain techniques to help women deal with issues, others and themselves.

I founded and directed the Woman's Consultation Center since 1976, Long Island, New York.

I have lectured on Women and the Courage to Confront and have written a workbook which is designed to help you realize that you are not alone. This workbook has techniques and theories with adjoining cartoons to illustrate the ideas.

I write the "Ask Phyllis" column in Today's Boca Woman Magazine.

I am a certified social worker, a business manager, a lecturer with Borders and Books A-Million Bookstore, and a consultant with more than twenty years in private and public counseling practice.

I am an effective, innovative family counselor and successful business woman with an outstanding track record in facilitating significant, positive changes in clients and families.
